I was married to my husband, Brian, in 1989. We were both raised in Defiance, Ohio. After college, we moved to Indianapolis and completed our graduate schooling at Indiana University. We raised our 2 sons, Bryson and Brennan, in the Westfield community. We are now empty-nesters besides our 2 pets, Fiasco, the tuxedo cat, and Meg, our border collie mix.
Brian and I enjoy our engagement with Westfield Northview Church. We love traveling, most outdoor activities like running, walking our dog, biking, golfing, or riding our motorcycle. We also enjoy food, whether it’s trying new local restaurants or cooking at home. Personally, I enjoy being active and usually run several times a week and do yoga regularly. I also like to plant flowers around our house for a more relaxing activity.
It gives me great pleasure to help someone or support an important mission. Programs that support the youth of our community and their education, as well as those that serve the less fortunate, are where I devote my volunteer time. I have served on the board of the Heart and Soul Free Clinic, a local clinic that serves the underinsured with medical and dental services. I spent 10 years on the Westfield Education Foundation board supporting teachers and students in the Westfield school system. I have also been a strong supporter of Student Impact and the Westfield Youth Assistance Program. It’s a joy to promote the growth and vibrancy of this community.
Education and Continuing Education
It has been my pleasure to practice orthodontics for over 20 years. I became interested in this profession after experiencing the excitement of having my own teeth straightened. I enjoyed my orthodontic journey and knew from the eighth grade that I wanted to be an orthodontist.
My undergraduate education was completed at Bowling Green State University in Ohio where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 1988. I worked as a chemist for several years after college but yearned for contact with the people in my community. I knew that the healthcare setting was where I belonged. I graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1995. In 1997, I completed my Master of Science in Orthodontics.
My team and I participate in continuing education to learn about and understand new technology and current research in the orthodontic field. This allows us to provide the best orthodontic treatment in the most efficient manner. Our team’s continuing education leads to the WOW customer service that is provided by a team that works together and functions as One.
In the Office
My team is incredible! Each person brings their strengths to the office and they know how to work together to achieve our practice goals. We love to laugh with one another and with the patients. We are all motivated to make your experience at Wittler Orthodontics the best that it can be.

Family and Community
I also have two amazing sons: Bryson and Brennan. Bryson graduated from Westfield High School while Brennan graduated from Park Tudor. Bryson graduated from Dayton University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and entrepreneurship. He is pursuing his master’s in Business entertainment. Brennan is currently working and living in the area.
Finally, we have two adopted pets, our dog Meg and cat Fiasco. Meg loves to run and walk with us and is quite a squirrel hunter, while Fiasco is an indoor cat and loves to lay in the sun.
Brian and I enjoy our engagement with Westfield Northview Church. We also enjoy traveling, most outdoor activities like running, walking our dog, biking, golfing, or riding a motorcycle. We also enjoy food, whether it’s trying new local restaurants or cooking at home. Personally, I enjoy being active and usually run at least one half marathon each year. I also like to plant flowers around our house for a more relaxing activity.
I support my community because the people from this community lead to the success of Wittler Orthodontics. I feel great when I can help someone or support an important mission. Programs that support the youth of our community and their education as well as those that serve the less fortunate are where I devote my volunteer time. Meet the Team
Julie
Practice Administrator
Bio
I have had the pleasure of working alongside Dr. Wittler for 20 years.
As practice administrator, I oversee the front office and make sure the flow of the office stays running smoothly. Knowing that orthodontics is an investment, I help my patients and their families formulate a payment schedule that makes them comfortable. I also help with insurance and whatever is needed from me from my team as well as my patients. It is such a pleasure to help our families with their orthodontic journey.
My husband of 35 years, Mark, and I are “empty nesters” at this point. We have three adult children, five grandchildren, and one dog. While not at work, you will find me spending time with my family, traveling with friends, reading, gardening, camping, and riding my Harley trike with my husband. We take lots of trips to see this great nation. I enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible.
Angie
Treatment Coordinator
Bio
I have the privilege of taking care of all the new patients in our office. My goal is to make them comfortable and excited about starting treatment with our team. I discuss concerns and objectives with patients and parents, go over fee estimates, and schedule my patients for their exciting start of treatment. I also take records for starts which include photos, x-rays, and scans of the teeth. I really enjoy interacting with my patients and getting to know them. It is so exciting and rewarding for me to be with them through their entire orthodontic journey while watching the transformation with their smiles.
My husband Tom and I have been married for 23 years. Together we have 4 children, 1 grandson, and 2 kitties. With our youngest at IU, we have become empty nesters. We enjoy taking trips and binge-watching our favorite shows. We really enjoy spending time with our family and being first-time grandparents.
Mindy
Scheduling Coordinator
Bio
I have worked with Dr. Wittler for 12 years.
I am the first voice patients hear on the phone. I schedule patients throughout their treatment time, and I help answer any questions they may have. My goal is to help make our patient’s orthodontic experience as convenient and hassle-free as possible. The best part of my job is witnessing the smile transformations that happen here at Wittler Orthodontics. I enjoy seeing the smiles on the faces of our patients, especially when they look into the mirror for the first time after their braces come off. They exhibit such confidence in themselves—it’s amazing! I love the interaction with the parents as well.
My husband Brian and I have two sons, Ben and Luke, a daughter Hope, and a chocolate lab named “Winston.” I love being outside, traveling to the beach, touring the aisles of Hobby Lobby, and supporting my kids in all their activities. My husband and I volunteer a lot at our church and stay busy traveling to and from our kids’ sporting events.

Clinical Assistant
Bio
I work alongside Dr. Wittler with all aspects of patient care. It is my privilege to help create beautiful smiles and build relationships with our patients and their parents. I feel blessed to work with a kind, caring, fun, well-respected doctor who has created beautiful smiles in Westfield and surrounding areas for the past 25 years! The women on this team are one of a kind and amazing! They are always there to help each other out and support one another. They make me laugh and look forward to coming to work each day.
I have a son named Boston and a daughter, Baylor. I also have a dog and two guinea pigs—a full house! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my kids and watching their sports, racing go-karts, boating and lake time in Ohio, and vacations to Siesta Key, Florida—my home away from home!
Chris
Lab Technician
Bio
I am dedicated to my work and enjoy the lab. I get to be artistic, detailed and work at my own pace. Since joining the team in 2012, it has been my pleasure to play a role in our patient’s smiles by creating study models and retainers that keep those smiles beautiful.
I am a family person. I grew up with five brothers and two sisters; being the second oldest, I have always been a caregiver. First, my siblings, then my grandparents, parents, and two kids of my own. Now I have six awesome grandchildren, and they fill up most of my free time and my heart. Otherwise, I enjoy time in the sun, at the pool tanning, cutting the grass, or cooking out with my neighbors. Life is good!
